Zach leads the company’s growth, partnerships, and industry relationships. He brings two decades of experience across manufacturing and building materials, with a focus on building teams, strengthening operations, and scaling organizations.
Prior to Paragon, he served as Managing Partner of SunCoast Contractors Supply, where he led the family-owned business through a period of sustained growth while investing in systems, leadership development, and operational excellence. Earlier in his career, he held executive roles in a U.S.-based manufacturing company, leading product development, sales, and the launch of multiple products across several industries. At Paragon, he is focused on expanding the company’s reach and helping more of the building industry benefit from modern, connected technology.
Hubbs enjoys building in all forms from homes and trusses to businesses and people. He holds a Doctor of Business Administration from the University of South Florida. He enjoys flying airplanes, traveling, and spending time with his wife and two sons. Hubbs resides near Chattanooga, Tennessee.

John grew up in a multi-generational family truss plant and has spent his career working in and around the building components industry. In 2016, he co-founded Paragon with his late father, Dan Holland, with a vision to bring greater transparency, flexibility, and capability to truss design software.
John’s career has been defined by a deep focus on the technical challenges at the core of the building components industry. As Chief Technology Officer, he leads Paragon’s product and engineering efforts, guiding the development of a modern, intelligent platform that brings greater clarity, speed, and connectivity to component design and manufacturing.
He has been actively involved in the Structural Building Components Association (SBCA), contributing to both the Technology and Emerging Leader committees. At Paragon, he focuses on advancing the platform’s technical direction, product development, and long-term innovation. He holds an MBA from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and a degree in Computer Science from Covenant College.
